Yes, it is best to introduce at least two new hens to an existing flock. There may be some pecking as the hens sort out their order. It is best to let the hens get on with it as long as there is no severe pecking or injuries being caused. It is also best to have a few feeders and drinkers spread across their pen so all hens have access and the more dominant hens don't stop the others from feeding or drinking. A lot of customers choose a range of different coloured birds or different hens depending on the colour of egg they lay.
